#SingGlobalHealth Competition
Purpose: To harness the power of music to raise awareness, inspire action, and promote global/whole-person health including mental health. This competition invites young people worldwide to use their voices to advocate for better health for all—and optionally, to express gratitude to global health heroes like President George W Bush for his leadership to establish PEPFAR (the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief) and President Joe Biden for the Global Cancer Moonshot.
Theme: “Sing for Global/Whole-Person Health”. Music as a tool for mental health, healing, connection, and advocacy.
Guidelines
Who Can Participate?

Individuals or groups with individuals of age up to 35 years from anywhere in the world

Musicians, vocalists, and spoken word artists
-
No professional experience required
How to Participate:

Submit a video (max 3 minutes) which you can record in any way including professionally or with a mobile phone, of your original or adapted song related to:

Mental health

Health disparities
-
Public health challenges
-
Whole-person health (spiritual, physical, mental)

Uplifting communities through music
-
Celebrating global health heroes or people who have had a major impact in global health.This year you have the option of either thanking former President George W. Bush for PEPFAR, or President Joe Biden for Global Cancer Moonshot.

Winner Announcement: June 7, 2025, online and live from the Global Health Catalyst Summit at Harvard/MIT

Continent Champions, i.e. winners from each continent $300

Voice of Gratitude Award – Best “Gratitude Song” honoring President Bush and/or Biden

Best Group Award for submissions by a group of individuals singing one song together. A group involves at least 2 people.

Winners will have sponsorship opportunities including sponsorship to participate in person at the Global Health Catalyst Summit at Harvard/MIT in September 19-21, 2025
